Cancellation and Deposit Policy*

Each rental will require a deposit that covers the insurance deductible. Damage to the boat and equipment happens when least expected. That damage sometimes costs more than the deductible. If that occurs during your rental, the security deposit will be kept. However, if the repair to the boat does not exceed the security deposit, then the deposit will be used for the repairs and the remaining balance will be returned. Bay Area Boat Rentals reserves the right to chose who makes the repairs.

Cancellations

As long as the rental is cancelled greater than 30 days in advance, you will receive a full refund of your payment (processing fees apply).
If you have to cancel your reservation between 7 and 30 days, half of your payment will be returned (processing fees apply).
If you have to cancel within 7 days of your rental, there will be no refund.
